In the business world, face-to-face networking can be an amazing tool when used correctly. Whether it's done at a cocktail party, a small social gathering, or a business meeting, the engagement of two or more business people in seemingly casual conversation can be a great way to communicate who you are and your business.
This will be workshop style and include interactive exercises in a true networking experience. It will feature 2 local community speakers who are experts on networking.

Speaker #1 is Rena Parent. Rena is a Management Consultant and a Certified Senior Dale Carnegie Trainer. She is described as a dynamic performance coach and trainer in the areas of sales, leadership, and human relations skills. She creates engaging, interactive, fun, and most importantly, business-relevant environments that help enable business professionals to take command of their work and personal lives! Rena is actively working with large, multi-national organizations, small businesses, and individuals, helping each to transform their performance.
At this event, Rena will focus on The Conversation Stack! How to layer questions with a new contact to "build" an impactful conversation.

Speaker #2 is Mia Bolden. Mia is the owner of Beautiful You Studio where she has been in business for over 5 years. She's an International Coach Federation Certified Empowerment Coach and Motivational Speaker. She has always had a passion for empowering women and helping them improve their self-confidence! Mia specializes in helping women discovering their true Passion & Purpose. She is also a motivational speaker, speaking at Women's Empowerment Expo's & Conferences, Black Heritage Festival, The Success Summit in California and the American Breast Cancer Survivors Dinner just to name a few! As well as hosting Women's Empowerment Retreat's throughout the US and just coming back from her first International Retreat in Bali! She loves to volunteer in her community and networking as much as possible!
At this event, Mia will focus her presentation on Overcoming Your Networking Fears! How to encourage people to approach you (instead of you having to come up to them during networking) and body language tips if you are shy or uncomfortable networking.
