Pensacola Little Theatre's Studio 400 Series is excited to announce AUDITIONS for its modern psychological thriller, THE PILLOWMAN, by Martin McDonagh. Auditions are August 20 & 21 at 7:00 p.m. Director, Rick Jank is looking for four men in lead roles and at least one man, one woman, and one girl for smaller roles. Age breakdown is as follows:Katurian, Mikal, Ariel – male, 20s – 30s; Tupolski – male, 30s – 60s; Mother, Father – late 20s – 40s; Girl – approx. 7 – 13 (or teenager able to play this age). THE PILLOWMAN is the 2004 Olivier Award Winner and a 2005 Tony Award Nominee for Best New Play. THE PILLOWMAN tells the tale of Katurian, who writes twisted fiction stories. He is living in a police state and is interrogated about the gruesome content of his short stories and their similarities to a number of bizarre murders occurring in his town.
