October General Membership Meeting/Auxiliary Council Silent Auction

It's finally here! The October GMM and Auxiliary Auction - if you have never attended this event...you have missed out! It will be held on October 23 from 5:30-8:30 PM at Gene's Floor Coverings. The Sluder family at Gene's Floor Covering hosts this event each year and they do not hold back with the delicious food! Just to give you an idea...there are about six tables filled with everything from boiled shrimp to fried turkey and marinated venison! There is NO FEE to attend this event - so let us know how many you are bringing to ensure everyone gets plenty of food and drinks. The HBA Auxiliary Council uses this event to showcase all of the wonderful donations they received - and you have a chance to bid on these great items! There will be a silent auction where you can browse items and write in your offer as well as a few "live auction" items. All proceeds from the Auxiliary Auction are used to purchase gifts for all children who, for whatever reason, will be spending the Christmas holiday as a resident of The Lakeview Center. It's a win-win...you get awesome prizes, and the kids get a gift (including the knowledge that someone cares).
