Come join us at the Flora-Bama Lounge for the first annual I Pink I Can Run 4 miler breast cancer run on October 6th at 8 am! The Krewe du Ya Yas mission is to raise awareness in our community and help socioeconomically challenged women in our area receive early detection mammograms. Funds raised for this event will be used to help further our mission by: Offsetting housecleaning costs for those in recovery, assisting with the purchase of wigs and mastectomy bras, offsetting the expense of costly medication, sponsoring families in crisis, and paying for mammograms to those who can't otherwise afford them.
