Full Moon Walk at Gulf Islands National Seashore

On Saturday, October 27, at 6:30 p.m., Park Ranger Beckie Mims will lead an hour-long program on the October full moon at Gulf Islands National Seashore. Meet at the Langdon Beach Gulf side pavilion, which is located three miles west of the Fort Pickens Entrance Station. Bring the entire family, and a blanket to sit on, for this 200 yard hike through the sand. Follow a planetary lineup of our solar system while learning about the many park species that depend upon dark night skies for their survival. Plan to arrive early and remember that there is an $8.00 entrance fee unless the card bearer has a park pass.
