Black History Month Banquet

Description

The Okaloosa County Democratic Party Black Caucus will celebrate Black History Month with its 1st Annual Black History Fundraising Dinner.  Tickets are $50 per person with proceeds benefitting the organization's annual "get out the vote" campaign.  Working for a New Florida:  "Teamwork makes the Dream Work" is the theme of this year's event and will feature a military color guard, two performances by the Emerald Coast Performing Arts Allliance's "Generations:  A collectioin of Black American Music", Martin Luther King Jr. student awards and acknowledgements.

The Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Melvin T. Stith, Dean Emeritus, Whitman School of Management, Syracuse Univeristy.
