BELMONT'S VALENTINE THEMED ''HOT GLASS , COLD BREW''

The Belmont Arts and Cultural Center announces their popular fundraising, signature event, Hot Glass Cold Brew, which will take place on Friday, February 10,2012, from 5 to 9 pm. Beautiful hand blown glass cups in reds and pinks will be offered. There'll be live glassblowing demonstrations and auction by members of Belmont's Glass Guild. There is more to love with a number of one-of-a-kind hand thrown clay mugs and demonstrations by Belmont's Pottery Guild and glass bead making demonstrations by Meredith Hartsfield. Enjoy the Belmont's unique ambiance and talents and partake of some complimentary pizza and beer, alcoholic* or non-alcoholic from Pensacola Bay Brewery and Hopjack's. A suggested donation of $25 for non-members and $20 for members gets patrons a hand-blown glass cup or clay mug. Special guest artist Kianga Ford will be on hand promoting her distinctive "Walk Home" project which she will be presenting at the University of West Florida on Thursday, February 9, 2012 as part of the UWF Genius Loci lecture series. Music will be provided by the Belmont Youth Band, with vocal renderings from Vivian Lamont;founder of the Belmont Youth Band. Arriving early ensures many cups or mugs from which to choose.
