"A Little Women Christmas" Play

Place this delightful new play at the top of your Christmas list – “A Little Women Christmas,” adapted from Louisa Alcott’s classic novel. Local playright Stephen Joseph Burke captures all the beautiful Christmas magic from the original tale of love and sacrifice. Period costumes and traditional carols bring 19th century New England to the stage of the historic Rex Theatre, Friday, Dec. 13 at 7pm, and Saturday, Dec. 14 at 3pm. Featuring local talent Brianne LaPoint as Jo, Megan Willingham as Meg, Emma Burke as Amy, Kaiya Engel as Beth, and Alisha Burke as Marmee (mother), their personalities and talents bring life to the God-honoring March family as they strive through the struggles and joys of life. The play is a presentation of The Shining Light Players, directed by Stephen and Alisha Burke, who are dedicated to producing wholesome small theatre entertainment.
