23d Annual Peanut Festival

Description

The Peanut Festival will be held on Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7, 2012, 9 AM-6 PM each day. It will be held on the Gabbert Farm, located about 4 1/2 miles south of Jay, FL, off Highway 89 at 3604 Pine Level Church Road. It is a nonprofit event. The admission and parking are free, as are the contests. This is a family festival...something for everyone. There will be arts, crafts, antiques, new items, displays, antique farm equipment, antique automobiles, rides, games, contests, foods, beverages, and live entertainment, and so much more. The museums and antique shop will be open. Each year the Festival is held in memory of Melissa Caroline Gabbert, who died of complications of her cancer at the age of 19.
